1.0.0.10 Major Update

MAJOR UPDATE (2/17/2013) with cool new feature (I think it is lol)
- Your game list now contains a calculation I like to call 'Difficulty Score'. Based on the member averages for each game, a difficulty score is determined for achievements and Gamerscore.

The difficulty score is a simple percent change calculation based on total game score and the member average score. This gives a rough estimate of how difficult or easy a game is.

For example, lets take a really hard game to complete like Final Fantasy XI.
- There are total of 57 achievements and 1250 GS.
- Member average is 3.1633 achievements and 42.3564 GS.
- The difficulty score for achievements is +1701.9
- The difficulty score for Gamerscore is +2851.1

Vice versa, lets take a really easy game to complete like Avatar.
- There are total of 5 achievements and 1000GS.
- Member average is 4.7847 achievements and 946.6268 GS.
- The difficulty score for achievements is +4.5
- The difficulty score for Gamerscore is +5.6

As you can see, the higher the difficult score, the harder the game is.

I also include a difficulty score based on your personal scores to see how well you are doing compared to the rest of the community. This number can be positive (doing better than the member average) or negative (doing worse than the member average).

Here is a rough breakdown on difficulty score
1-10: very easy (ex. Avatar)
11-50: easy
51-100: medium
101-250: medium hard
251-500: hard
501-1000: very hard
>1000: almost impossible (ex. FF XI)

You will see these numbers next to your achievements and Gamerscore for each game and you must be a 360voice member since I'm pulling the member averages from 360voice.com.

Beta 1.0.0.6 is out, finally

After a few days rest, I've finally was able to finish up the next update. This one includes viewing 360voice groups - blog, members, badges, and top games. I also updated the UI a bit and fixed a few bugs. Next up is live tile background agent. I want to update the live tile with the latest Gamerscore and stats from 360voice. I already have most of it done, but it needs further testing.

BETA 1.0.0.4 is out

This version includes a number of features including
- pinning 360voice hub tiles to your start screen for quicker navigation
- syncing your game list with xbox.com to get the most current information
- general UI improvements

I'm fairly happy with this version and so far have not encountered any major issues. I will be adding the 360voice authentication feature to the login so that only the owner of the 360voice account can access their blog, badges, etc.

Name Change and BETA

Beta is available to download for those who sent me their email address. Version 1.0.0.3 is the latest update which should be pushed by tomorrow. It fixes a major issue with datetime formatting if you are from a different region other than the United States. I also decided to change the name of the app to simply 'V360'. I want to avoid any legal issues with using the term 'XBOX'.

XBOX Voice Beta

The Beta was successfully pushed out today, but after testing it myself, I found some major issues which caused the application to crash without warning. I've already fixed some of them and will submit another update later today or tomorrow.

XBOX Voice Beta App Submission

Today, I decided to submit the app for Beta release on the Marketplace. I felt it was in pretty stable condition and wanted to get it in the hands of some the beta testers. According to the Windows Phone Dev Center, it takes about 24 hours so hopefully everything will go smoothly. In the meantime, I'm adding some of the additional features which I mentioned in a previous post and fixing any bugs that I've encountered on my own.
